Use this checklist to start the conversation. The agreed project scope and product requirements take priority.

Before your assessment

• Gather product names, specifications and installation instructions.
• Measure the approximate area and identify stairs or separate rooms.
• Photograph the existing floor, transitions and visible concerns.
• Note access, furniture, occupancy and preferred timing.

Before scheduling

• Confirm the selected material and delivery arrangements.
• Discuss acclimation and site conditions where the product requires them.
• Confirm removal, disposal, preparation, trim and responsibilities in the quote.
• Agree who clears furniture and how affected areas will be accessed.

At the walkthrough

Review the finished areas and transitions together. Ask about any applicable installation warranty and the product manufacturer’s care guidance.
